About Us

The members of the ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Authority are appointed by the ACT Minister for Education and Training. They administer the training fund in accordance with the Building and Construction Industry Training Levy Act 1999, No. 30 (ACT) ('the Act').

The training fund is financed by a 0.2% levy on all building and construction work in the ACT that is subject to the Act.

The TFA determines funding priorities in response to key areas identified by industry research. In consultation with industry stakeholders, these findings are incorporated into the Training Plan, released at the beginning of each calendar year. Contributions to this process from all industry stakeholders are welcomed.
