Access and Equity
The Access & Equity funding provided by the Training Fund Authority is helping ensure support for construction industry training for under-represented segments of the community. This includes:
- Women in non-traditional vocations
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- People with disabilities
- Overseas workers with existing skills and experience
- Secondary students participating in the Understanding Building and Construction Program (UBCP) in select government high schools.
Through these initiatives the Authority will support the ACT Government’s priorities and ensure community representation is diverse and inclusive.
